PURPOSE:To eliminate the complexity of replacing operation for a transparency in projection, by utilizing a light transmission type liquid crystal panel body as the transparency of a projecting device such as an overhead projector. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal display element 101a as the 1st layer for displaying a principal picture-element part is laminated on a liquidcrystal display element 101b as the 2nd layer for displaying an auxiliary picture element part to constitute the light transmission type liquid crystal panel body 1. This panel body 1 is mounted on the stage glass 2 of the projecting device and put in operation, and a halogen lamp 3 is turned on. Consequently, light from the halogen lamp 3 is transmitted through insulating glass 5 directly or after being reflected by a light-source reflecting mirror 4 and then transmitted through the stage glass 2 and light transmission type liquid crystal panel body 1 through a Fresnel lens 6, forming the enlarged operation picture of the panel body 1 on a screen 11 through a projection lens 7. |
