摘要 PURPOSE:To detect a temperature of a shell of a kiln body, to record it automatically, and to know exactly the adhering state of coating, by one measuring device from a place which is distant from an object to be measured, by measuring radiant energy by an optical head, converting it to an electric signal, recording or displaying it, and measuring and recording automatically a temperature distribution in the circumferential direction of the shell. CONSTITUTION:Infrared rays 7 being one of radiant energy are detected by an optical unit 6 from a shell of a kiln 1, are converted to an electric signal (e), and are inputted to a control unit 8. The electric signal (e) sent from the optical unit 6 is an analog value, a temperature-electric signal becomes nonlinear, it is calculated so as to be linearized in the control unit 8, and is made so that the temperature-electric signal is proportional. The temperature signal linearized in the control unit 8 is an analog signal, is inputted to a monitor unit 9, and a temperature distribution state obtained by measuring from the left end of the shell of the kiln 1 to a position of the right end is displayed as a video on a cathode-ray tube.
