<p>The container, in particular a disposable can for drinks, such as fruit juice and the like, consists of a beaker made of an essentially rigid plastic material which has in the region of its open end an outwardly pointing holding edge, behind which the edge of a lid made of metal sheet or a thermoplastic engages so that the lid is connected to the beaker in a permanent and air-tight manner.
