The layer is coated on an aluminium support surface, which has been electrolytically oxidized. The silane compound improves the adhesion of the layer to the support and has the Formula in which R is amino or amino alkylamino (1 to 4C); R' is alkyl (1 to 4C); R" is -CH 3 or R - (CH 2 ) n and m is 2 or 3; n is 1,2 or 3 and p is 0 or 1; the sum of m and n being 3. A dye and also other resins e.g. epoxy resins, polyvinyl ethers, polyvinyl acetates or polyvinyl acetals may be present. The oxide layer on the aluminium support preferably weighs about 3 gm/sq. meter. |
