摘要 PURPOSE:To supply a non-pulsating flow of a fluid at a constant flow rate by the titled cam applied to a fluid pump, by a method wherein two followers are provided which perform equal-velocity reciprocating motions with a phase shift obtained by bisecting a cam period, and a forward path in each cam curve with which the followers make contact is set to be longer than a return path. CONSTITUTION:When a cam shaft 3 is rotated at a contact speed, wheels 11, 12 reciprocate rods 7, 8 at the same velocity while rolling concurrently with the rotation of heart cams 1, 2. Since each of the cams 1, 2 has the forward path slightly longer than the return path, a backward movement of the rod 8 having a phase shift of 180 deg. relative to th rod 7 is completed in the course of a forward movement of the rod 7, and subsequently the rod 8 enters a forward movement. After the forward movements of the rods 7, 8 are performed in an overlapping manner for a while, the rod 7 enters a backward movement. When the rods 7, 8 are connected to each piston of a fluid pump incorporating two sets of valve mechanisms and are operated, the fluid ejected is fed out at a constant flow rate and in such a pattern that both ends of discharge strokes are overlapped with each other, thereby pulsation is smoothed.
