<p>PURPOSE:To make the titled device small in size for extremely reducing an area necessary for its installation, while enhancing the efficiency of treatment, by providing a filter bed at the terminal of an upward stream part and connecting an aeration tank to the filter bed in series. CONSTITUTION:In the ultradeep aeration tank 1 having a downward stream part 2 and an upward stream part 3, an upward stream-type biofiltration bed 17 is provided above a sparger pipe 14 at the terminal of the upward stream part 3, and the aeration tank 1 is connected to the filtration bed 17 in series. Hence, by the difference in water head between the downward stream part 2 and the upward stream part 3 or air lifting, waste water is circulated through the downward stream part 2 and the lowest part of the shaft, raised and then passed through the biofiltration bed 17 wherein tertiary treatment is performed with dense membranes. Thus, the small-sized treatment of high accuracy is performed.</p> |
