PURPOSE:To prevent the temperature of a picture formation body from rising owing to the heat conduction of a transferring device by providing a cooling means consisting of a heat pipe and a radiation fin in the supporting member of the picture forming body. CONSTITUTION:A toner image on a photoreceptor 1a is transferred to transferring paper P through an intermediate transferring body 5 and a press body 6, but heating means 5a and 6a are provided in the transferring body 5 and the press body 6, so the temperature of a photoreceptor 1a rises owing to its heat conduction to degrade image formation performance easily. For this purpose, the cooling means consisting of the heat pipe 11 and radiation fin 12 is provided in a photoreceptor supporting drum 1. When the cooling fin is cooled by cold air, the heat of the drum 1 is conducted through the heat pipe 11 efficiently to prevent the temperature rise of the drum 1 and photoreceptor 1a, holding the image forming performance excellent. |
