Bird seed chaff separator - has housing with attached seed inlet, ventilator, deflector and collector vessels

The transparent plastics box shaped housing (1) encloses the separating space (2), which has a top mounted inlet (3) with a funnel (4) and regulator slide (5). The bottom of the housing has two spaced collector vessels (6,7) which can be slid into and out of the housing. A ventilator (8) is laterally mounted just below the inlet in the side wall. The nozzle outlet of the ventilator is just below the spot where the seeds drop down. Between the collector vessel is a triangular shaped deflector piece (10). The ventilator output is regulated by a slide (11). In use, the heavier seed drops into one collector vessel (6) whilst the chaff is blown into the other collector vessel (7).
