PURPOSE:To perform working with quite high efficiency by constructing such that electrochemical grinding is performed electrolytically upon contact between the conductive section of a disc and the subject to be grinded while mechanical grinding is performed upon contact between the non-conductive section and the subject to be grinded. CONSTITUTION:It is constructed with a grinding disc 1 and a rotary table 2. The disc 1 is formed of a discharge band 11 and a grinding band 12 on the flat face section. The disc 1 itself is a circular non-conductive grindstone formed of non-conductive grindstone. Radial grooves are made in the flat face section of said disc 1 or the non-curved side face on the circumference then conductive substance is burried to form a discharge band 11. Furthermore a subject M to be grinded is mounted on the upper face of a rotary table 2 and a plurality of electromagnetic chucks 21 for securing are arranged. The chuck 21 will attract the subject M through strong electromagnetic force from a magnet burried flat with the upper face of the table 2. Consequently it can be worked with quite high efficiency. |
