PURPOSE:To reduce generation of burr of a soft metal strip and lessen its curvature by installing plural pairs of rotary blades each of which having a projection at one edge of an outer peripheral part so that said projections make contact with each other in slidable ways and allowing a metal strip to be transferred and cut between upper and lower disk-shaped rotary blades. CONSTITUTION:When a metal strip is continuously cut in the longitudinal direction, a disk-shaped rotary blade 2 (theta=45 deg., h=0.3mm.) having a projection at one edge of an outer peripheral part is made from tool steel, and five pairs of said rotary blades are installed at an interval of 20mm. by use of spacers onto the upper and lower rotary shafts in pairs which revolve in the reverse direction to each other, and an annealed copper strip having a slab thickness of 1mm. and a width of 100mm. is transferred and cut between the rotary blades 2, and four strips each of which having a width of 20mm. are formed. Therefore, the strip thus formed has small curvature and little burr is formed, and projection from the strip surface is little, so the surface defects due to mutual friction is reduced, and press-molding performance and formation of insulated membrane are facilitated, and thus conspicuous effects can be developed. |
