The main part (1) of the vehicle has three legs (2) of which two are laterally movable and one is attached to the vehicle itself. The legs are universally jointed to the main body part. Two cylinder piston units (6) actuate the swing around horizontal axis (4), whilst one cylinder-piston unit (7) actuates movement on the vertical pivot axis. The legs carry at their free end a support unit (8) coupled to a hydromotor. The legs (2) have along their upwards moving part a swinging arm arrangement, which at its end carries one of the support units. The unit is esp. suitable for canal digging or dredging.
