PURPOSE:To add the weight of a sub-leader to a ground treatment machine by a method in which the sub-leader is provided through a guide to a tower in a fixing and releasing manner, and the ground treatment machine is provided to the sub-leader in a vertically movable manner and in a fixable manner at any position by a stopper. CONSTITUTION:A sub-leader 14 is fixed through a stopper 15 to a guide 13, the vertically movable winch 17 of a ground treatment machine 16 is locked, and the machine 16 is fixed to a tower 12 by a wire, etc., and held at a housing position. In operating the treatment machine 16, its fixation is released and then the machine 16 is lowered to the position 16a under the guidance of the sub-leader 14 by the winch 17 and fixed to the sub-leader 14 through the stopper 20. By removing the stopper 15, the fixation between the sub-leader 14 and the tower 12 is released and the treatment of the ground is made. During the ground treatment operation, the weight of the sub-leader 14 is added to the machine 16 and the machine 16 is further penetrated into the ground by as much as the increment. The weight of the machine 16 itself can thus be reduced. |
