Phenoxyphenylthioureas of the formula <IMAGE> in which R1, R2 and R3 each denote hydrogen, halogen, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy, trifluoromethyl or nitro, R4 and R5 each denote C2-C4-alkyl and R6 denotes C1-C10-alkyl, C3-C5-alkenyl or C3-C6-cycloalkyl are suitable, in particular, for controlling insects, mites and ticks. Processes are described for their preparation and for the preparation of intermediates, as is their use in pesticides.
