PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to replace felt frequently and to keep a good cleaning property extending over a long period of time, by providing not only cleaner felt but also a toner scraping plate just in front of said felt. CONSTITUTION:Felt 3 and a toner scraping plate 7 are installed to a cleaner frame 3, and one face of the felt 3 and one end of the scraping plate 7 are made to adhere closely to the surface of a fixation roll 1 by constant pressure. Also, the scraping plate 7 is formed by a thin plate having the same width dimensions as width of a picture, and is provided just in front of the felt 3. In this state, a toner 6 adhering onto the surface of the fixation roll 1 is scraped by the scraping plate 7, and subsequently, the toner of a very small quantity, which cannot be removed completely is removed thoroughly by the felt 3. In this way, frequent replacement of the felt is not required and a good cleaning property can be kept extending over a long period of time. |
