Data TDM system with shortened synchronisation time - uses quasi statistical random signal train in data flow

Frame synchronisation is realised by insertion at the sending end into the data flow bit-by-bit of a quasi statistical random signal train spaced by n timing periods of the data beat. It is generated in a k-stage random generator, and at the receiving end is at first stored, and then compared with subsequently received signal train, identical with the above when synchronisation is perfect. At first the received data flow is stored in n receiver circuits in sections of k bits spaced by n timing periods and staggered by one period each. Then all receiver circuits are switched to reproduction of stored signal trains.
