The preparation of thymosin α1 useful for an immunity accelerator includes the condensation of the protected tetradecapeptide (II) and the protected tetrapeptide to obtain the protected octacosapeptide (I'), and removal of the protecting radicals from the above octacosapeptide by using non-aqueous hydrogen fluoride: where R1=hydroxy protector of serine, R2, R4, R6=carboxy1 protector, R3=hydroxy1 protector of threonine, R5=ω-amino protector of lysine, R7=H activating radical.
