PURPOSE:To exculde waste of power consumption, by controlling the power supply of an optical signal controller and of a terminal device connected to the controller with an optical signal from a central device. CONSTITUTION:The central device 1 and optical signal controllers 24a-24c whose power controller 6 is connected to the side of the central device 1 are connected in a chain the the controllers 24a-24c are connected each other by an optical cable 3. The power supply controller 6 detects a control signal of an optical signal transmitted from the central device 1 or the pre-stage controllers 24a-24c and the terminal device 41 with power supply control cables 7, 8 according to the content of the signal. The controllers 24a-24c convert the signal from the central device 1 into an optical signal or receive the optical signal from at the pre-stage controller so as to relay it to the post-stage controller, and the signal fed to a terminal accommodated in itself is branched and transmitted to the terminals 41. |
