PURPOSE:To realize the stop motion function with a low cost and a simple device, by reading out information corresponding to charge information stored in a gate of each picture element for plural number of times with the state that the optical incidence is blocked to an image pickup means with a shutter means. CONSTITUTION:An image forming lens 11 forms an image of an object on an image pickup element 12 possible for non-destructive readout. The image pickup element 12 is driven with a drive circuit 13, and its output is outputted as a dynamic picture signal via a signal processing circuit 15. In performing the stop motion effect, the shutte member 20 is driven with a control circuit 14 to shut the light to the image pickup element 12, and the reset operation of the image pickup element 12 is not made and the charge is kept as it is. The charge stored in the image pickup element 12 is read out for plural number of times and a still picture signal is outputted. |
