COOLING TOWER

摘要

PURPOSE:To increase the recovery of exhaust heat by a method wherein a drain pipe with control valve bypassed halfway from a water supply pipe is provided to drain any surplus water directly outward without passing through a cooling tower. CONSTITUTION:A drain pipe 4b bypassed from halfway point A of a water supply pipe 4a between a pump 4 and a cooling tower 5 is provided while the drain pipe 4a is provided with a control valve 7. On the other hand, a water level detector 8 and a water level controller 9 of the water collected into a lower water tank of the cooling tower 5 are provided to control the opening of the control valve 7 by the signals from the water level controller 9. Through these procedures, any surplus water of this system may be drained directly outward without passing through the cooling tower 5 increasing the recovery of exhaust heat since the surplus water is not cooled by the cooling tower 5.
