PURPOSE:To provide the consumer with information to indicate the proper quantity of water for boiling rice, by detecting the moisture-content of the rice to be bagged, and printing the bag with the information to indicate the proper amount of water. CONSTITUTION:The rice is charged into the hopper 1 through the chute 2. The moisture-content of the rice is measured by the moisture meter 7 in the course of metering. The information of the moisture-content is transmitted to the processor 8, which transmits the information of the moisture-content of the rice and the proper quantity of water to be added to the rice to the printing means 6. The information is printed directly to a side of the bag A packed with the rice, or a printed label is attached to the bag. The time lag from the measurement of the moisture through the bagging means, the sealing means 5, and the conveyor 4, to the printing with the printing means 6 can be compensated by the processor 8. |
