PURPOSE:To improve the cooling capacity of the titled device by a method wherein the cooling system for a condenser is separated from the cooling system for machines and devices including bearings of a turbine to be cooled and a LNG feed pipe and a discharge pipe are connected to coolers serving as evaporators and adopted to cool the above-mentioned machines and devices. CONSTITUTION:In the power generation plant provided with the condenser 1 adopted to produce condensed water by cooling vapors of sea water collected by a water collector 3, the coolers 13a and 13b serving as the LNG evaporators are connected to the bearings 2a-2c of the turbine through a cooling water feed pipe 18, return pipes 21a and 21b, a cooling water discharge pipe 22, a cooling water pipe 26 and a cooling water return pipe 27 and cooling water is supplied to the bearings 2a-2c. In this case, the cooling water feed pipe 18 and the discharge pipe 22 are connected together through a pipe 23 and a pair of temperature adjusting valves 25a and 25b provided with a temperature sensor 24 are interposed in the pipe 23. Then the LNG feed pipe 28 and the discharge pipe 29 are connected to the coolers 13a and 13b, respectively, and the cooling water is cooled by utilizing the cold heat of LNG. |
