In the cell-separating walls (3) of a multi-cell accumulator block (1), cavities (5) are formed during the injection moulding by injection needles supplied with air, which cavities (5) can be inflated subsequently by the injection of a plastic (6) which can form foam, e.g. polyurethane. The wall-bubbles (7) formed in this way produce a compression pressure which also ensures fixed, permanent positioning of those adjacent plate blocks, consisting of negative electrodes (9), positive electrodes (10) and separators (11), which are too thin to achieve the correct installation dimension for the associated cell about the slot width (14). <IMAGE> |
