PURPOSE:To lengthen a loading bed of a trailer and increase a loading capacity, thereby enhancing a transport efficiency, by providing a coupling member for coupling member for coupling a trailer with a tractor at the lower portion of a loading bed of the tractor, and obliquely cutting the loading bed of the tractor at the lower portion of its rear end, where a rising member is pivotably mounted. CONSTITUTION:A coupling pin 28 is standingly mounted on a coupling base 23 of a trailer at its forward end 23a. A coupler 14 is pivotably mounted on a base 12 of a coupling member 11 of a tractor. The coupling pin 28 is slightly pushed into an inlet portion 22a of a guide recess 22, and then is forcibly inserted into an engagement hole 21 of the coupler 14 by forcing the trailer. Thus, the coupling pin 28 is engaged through a guide groove 20 of engaging members 16 and 16' pivotably mounted at 17 and 17' to the lower portion of the coupler 14 with an engagement hole 19 formed by the members 16 and 16'. The engagement members 16 and 16' are spring-biased so as to babut against each other, and accordingly, when the coupling pin 28 is inserted into the engagement hole 19, it is prevented from being disengaged therefrom. |
