PURPOSE:To prevent misfiring of a gas-turbine engine, by employing such an arrangement that an ignition means can be operated also at the time of engine operation other than at the time of starting and the ignition means is set into operation automatically at the time of engine operation when the possibility of causing misfiring is high. CONSTITUTION:In a gas-turbine engine equipped with a combustor 6 for burning fuel ejected from a fuel injection valve 48 under supply of air compressed by a compressor and heated by a heat exchanger, the combustor 6 is provided with an ignition plug 51 operable at the time of starting the engine and also at the time of engine operation other than that in addition to a conventional ignition plug 50 used for starting the engine. These ignition plugs 50, 51 are controlled respectively by ignition circuits 43, 44 which are controlled by a microcomputer 38. With such an arrangement, misfiring of the engine is prevented by operating the ignition plug 51 by the ignition circuit 44 in case that the engine operation such as acceleration and deceleration when the possibility of causing misfiring is high is detected from an accelerator pedal position signal S15 or an actual engine-speed signal S2. |
