PURPOSE:To obtain always stabilized toe-in change even in such an operational condition as a rear wheel gets over a projection on a road surface and the like by supporting the rear wheel by means of a letter U-like spring with its opening facing forward. CONSTITUTION:During curved traveling, when lateral force is applied to a rear wheel 14 from a road surface, a letter U-like spring 10 is laterally compressed and deformed so as to be narrowed in its front opening. Since the side of said spring 10 fixed to a hub 16 is not displaced, displacement is caused to only other sides, and a wheel hub 30 and the rear wheel 14 supported by other sides are given displacement in toe-in direction. The letter U-like spring 10 is freely rotatable with a trailing arm 12, while it is supported by means of a connective link 22 in such a manner as its opening faces forward all the time, therefore, certain toe-in change can be obtained even in such a condition as the rear wheel 14 gets over a projection and the like while the trailing arm 12 sways upward. |
