PURPOSE:To detect impurities, by providing a spectroscope for separating electromagnetic radiation within a region ranging from UV rays to X rays in one dimensional directions, and a microchannel plate, etc. for multiplying photoelectrons spectrally separated and emitting a one-dimensional electron image. CONSTITUTION:A diffraction grating 2 constituting a spectroscope spectrally separates electromagnetic radiation incident from the outside of a vacuum sealed vessel 1 in the direction of a mirochannel plate 3. This plate 3 multiplies photoelectrons generated by said radiation and emits it. Electrons having one-dimensional distribution corresponding to the spectra of said radiation incident on the incident face of the plate 3 is emitted from the emission surface of the plate 3. As a result, the separated spectra of said electromagnetic radition can be detected with high resolution, and impurities contained in nucleus fusion plasma can be determined. |
