摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce wearing degree of refractory and to extend the use life of furnace body of blast furnace, by combining a cooling box system with a connection system of laterally long strip type cooling board. CONSTITUTION:The cooling zone A on the inside of furnace side is so constructed that cooling box 11 of shelf state is fixed to the opening part of shell 12 and horizontally extruded into the inside of furnace. The cooling box 13 is made of cast iron, etc., being, in a long and narrow manner, extended in a circumferential direction of furnace body by connection, arranged alternately with the box 11 in a direction of height, of which the inside is, in a casting manner, connected with a cooling tube 14 casted therein and further fixed by leaving the space between the cooling tube 14 and the shell 12 with a fitting bolt 15. The surrounding of board 13 is filled with unshaped refractories 16 and the furnace wall part inside it is constructed with refractory brick 17 adjacent to the refractory 16. Thus, the cooling zone B on shell side is formed. The wearing speed of brick 17 is blunted as it approaches the cooling zone B and at that time the box 11 can be exchanged if there is any damage of box 11. When the wearing of furnace wall reaches the dotted line part, wearing and falling off scarecely occur according to the extreme broad cooling surface of board 13 and the existence of refractory 16, and the safety operation for several years can be achieved.
