PURPOSE:To make the conveying attitude of a lamina into alignment in an automated manner, by installing a rotary rocking mechanism in a close relationship with a ruler belt, while rocking the ruler belt in a direction capable of truing up the disorder of each lamina during the process of conveying the lamina such as a veneer, etc. CONSTITUTION:Portions being projected to both sides, right and left of a lamina 1 are aligned right by ruler belts 3a and 3b which are installed at both sides of a conveyor 2 to convey the lamina 1 such as a veneer or the like in a way of making the width of a device Li wider than that of the lamina 1 to the extent of corresponding to the projected portions on either side of the width Li at the carry-in side while forming the width of a device Lo into the same width as that of the lamina 1 at the carry-out side. In addition, rotary mechanisms 4a and 4b to rock an intermediate part of each of ruler belts 3a and 3b are installed in a close relationship with these ruler belts 3a and 3b in parallel. These rotary rocking mechanisms 4a and 4b are designed so as to cause these ruler belts 3a and 3b to be rocked up to a position adjacent to the device width Lo by means of having rotors 6a and 6b provided with rollers 7a and 7b rotate as centering around rotary shafts 5a and 5b. |
