PURPOSE:To obtain a cheap vibration isolator which is resistive to heat, oil, and fatigue; and capable of being made small-sized by constituting it so that the compression force and shearing force are applied from the side face of a helical spring. CONSTITUTION:A female screw-like groove coupled with a helical spring 3 is provided at one side face of a supporter 1 and a main body 2, and the helical spring 3 is coupled with this groove to be pinched by the supporter 1 and main body 2. The vertical oscillation displacement applied to the supporter 1 generates a compression force as a pressing force of the side face of the helical spring 3, and the horizontal oscillation displacement generates a shearing force as a force shifting the helical spring 3 held in the female screw-like groove. The helical spring 3 provides a vibration isolation action by absorbing the displacement applied from sideward. |
