PURPOSE:To supply a processing liquid from the nozzle effectively into a machining gap in a wire cut discharge machining. CONSTITUTION:When the processing liquid is supplied into the nozzle 2 from a processing liquid supply pipe 8, the nozzle 4 operates a position and is pushed outwardly against the resilient force of a spring 6 with the top end 4b of the nozzle coming into contact with a workpiece 12. The nozzle 4 is formed of a synthetic resin material and is so selected that a gap larger than at least the usual machining gap is formed between a wire electrode 10 and a small hole 4a. Further, the processing liquid in the nozzle is injected along the surface of the wire electrode 10 as it passes through the gap. Accordingly, gases and machining chips to be produced in the gap are washed away. |
