The jamming protection is for doors (24,38) which are pivotably suspended in hinges along one edge. It comprises primary and secondary protective bodies (1,2) held together by a component extending through the door gap (37). Both protective bodies have partly a convex locating surface (4,16) by means of which they slide against surfaces on opposite sides of the door gap, and partly a lower end by means of which they rest and slide against a base. When the door panel is pivotted, the two bodies (1,2) are caused respectively to move to and from the door opening. On closure of the door, the one component also moves from the door opening, whilst the other moves towards it. |
