PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of an adhesive compound to be used, to make members difficult to stain, and to improve reliability, by fixing a liquid crystal panel and a thin sheet onto a supporting plate with an elastic body between and sticking the both under a vacuum. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal panel 6 is placed on an EP rubber sheet 5 on the supporting member 3 in a tank 1 under atmospheric pressure and the polarizing plate 11 is provided to the EP rubber 9 of a supporting member 4 with an adhesive member 10 in-between. The tank 1 is evacuated through a valve 2, the member 3 is elevated by a cylinder 7 to press the panel 6 and plate 11 under proper pressure, and the plate 11 is prevented from flawing by the cushion of the elastic body 8. The plate 11 is stuck to the panel 6 with the adhesive 12. As the member 3 is lowered, the plate 11 is stuck to the panel 6 tightly with the adhesive 12, so the plate 11 coupled with the member 4 by the adhesive member 10 is lowered together with the panel 6 according to the memger 3. Then, the tank 1 is returned to the atmospheric pressure by introducing air through the valve 2. |
