PURPOSE:To make facility space, initial cost and energy consumption advantageous, by making the ratio between the outer diameter of a pair of rollers for performing feed processing of string material and the number of poles of each drive motor same while connecting each motor to power sources having same frequency. CONSTITUTION:Large diameter roller 1 and small diameter roller 2 are coupled directly to the motors 3, 4 to be driven. The motors 3, 4 are connected to a power source 5 of same frequency. Assuming the outer diameter of the large diameter roller 1 is D1, the outer diameter of small diameter roller 2 is D2, the number of poles of the motor 3 is P1 and the number of poles of the motor 4 is P2, the number of poles is set to satisfy the relation D1/P1=D2/P2. When feed processing the string through a roller, the string 7 is wound several times over the large diameter roller 1 and a separating small diameter roller 2 positively driven with same circumferential speed with that of the large diameter roller 1 then fed to next processing mechanism. |
