PURPOSE:To perform the adjustment of module characteristics requiring long time for its stabilization for a short time by providing a function trimming device with a timer counting unit to measure a characteristic value at a fixed time interval. CONSTITUTION:Under control by a CPU1 to control calculation, a module 7 to be adjusted is carried and positioned at a position to measure and trim by a carrier positioning unit 5. Subsequently, a probe unit 3 is electrically connected with the module 7. A measuring signal is inputted from the module 7 to a test measuring unit 4 through the probe unit 3 and the CPU1 reads out the electrical characteristics. At that time, a timer counting unit 2 is read out to measure the characteristic values three times at the same time interval. On the basis of the result, operation processing is executed. When the time becomes infinite, a convergent value is found out, whether the value is an objective value or not is discriminated, and if not an objective value, the quantity of trimming is calculated to perform trimming. Thus, the characteristics are adjusted to the objective value by repeating measurement, operation processing, discrimination, and trimming. |
