Skylight whose opening frame 1 is formed from a single part comprising, around its principal face substantially parallel to the roof, lateral and lower edges which are folded down in substantially vertical planes. The edges of the transparent sheet (pane) forming the opening frame 1 are fitted with a seal 21 made from elastomeric material whose profile is at least ovoid in its lower part 22, with a slot 25 in its upper part, into which the edge 28 is inserted. The profile of the seal may have the shape of a drop of water. Below the surface of the seal 21, coming in contact with the skylight curb, is provided a cavity 27 of rounded or crescent-shaped cross-section. The profile of the seal may include two slots into which the edges of double walls are inserted. <IMAGE>
