<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a high precision signal generator with less interference given to an existing television receiver by converting a high frequency compo nent included in a luminance signal as high precision information into a fre quency through the use of a subcarrier and adding it to the high frequency of a signal Q. CONSTITUTION:A high pass filter 1 and a subtractor 8 sort out a high frequency band luminance signal Y into a component YL with a frequency band the same as a luminance signal included in a conventional signal NTSC and a high fre quency component YH. A high precision information YH is multiplied by a subcarrier cospifsct by a multiplier 5, and its lower wave band signal is taken out by a band-pass filter 3, whereby it is frequency-shifted, and the frequency (f) of the YH becomes f-fsc. An adder 10 adds the frequency-shifted signal YH' to the signal Q. After a modulator 9 applies perpendicular double phase modula tion to the output of the adder 10 and the signal I, an adder 11 adds them to a brightness YL. Accordingly the high precision information YH never overlaps with the low frequency of the luminance signal, thereby reducing the interference given to an existing television receiver.</p> |
