PURPOSE:To execute a diagnostic program, by generating a jump instruction for jumping to a diagnostic program on the basis of the result of logical arithmetic between the program instruction of a computer and the jump instruction of a diagnosing device. CONSTITUTION:Generating circuits 17a, 17b and 17c for jump instructions corresponding to addresses necessary for jump instruction setting are provided for diagnosing the computer 11. Then, they generate codes necessary for executing the jump instruction. Further, the diagnostic program is written in a diagnostic memory ROM16. On the other hand, a jump instruction code which does not change 1 to 0 is written in the starting address of a stored control program is written in an ROM13. Thus, a switching circuit 18 switches the generating circuits 17a, 17b and 17c successively, and consequently the CPU12 reads the jump instruction, thereby executing the diagnostic program. |
