<p>The furniture hinge is anchored into an opening on furniture part surface. The hinge fitting is readily anchored by unskilled persons without using any special tools. The anchoring is ensured by swivelling the hinge holding lever which expands the anchoring plug into the anchoring hole wall. The locking element (9) is rotated about its shaft (21) arranged at right angles to the plug diameter. The cup or cylindrical shaped hinge housing has slots (18) separating serrated segments from the cylindrical housing. A wedge is pushed into these slots for expanding the plug segment webs for locking purposes. The wedges (10) are an integral part of the rotating locking handle.</p> |
