The lock according to the invention consists of a fixed case 1, in which a movable barrel 2 is mounted rotatably and is immobilised relative to said case by means of at least one locking element 5 movable between the barrel 2 and the case 1 and actuated by means of a key. The said movable element 5 consists of a bolt 5 parallel to the axis of the case 1 and capable of sliding in the barrel 2 along this axis between a first position, in which it is immobilised in terms of rotation relative to the case, and a second position, in which it is free relative to the said case, whilst pistons 6 known per se, which can be operated by means of the abovementioned key perpendicularly to the said bolt 5, form the elements for locking the bolt 5 relative to the barrel 2 in its abovementioned first position. <IMAGE>
