PURPOSE:To improve the yield of material in titled working, by cut-bending beforehand a portion of a part to be scrap in the final to use the same as a stopper piece and bringing the same into contact with the stopper on the lower side of a blank material thereby determining a feed pitch. CONSTITUTION:A portion of a part 2 to be scrap in the final by blanking a coil material 1 is cut-bent downward to form a stopper piece 3. The material 1 is lifted by the lifters 9, 10 disposed on the lower side thereof and a lifter 11 disposed in the side part, and advances under the guide of guide rolls 12. Then, the stopper piece 3 contacts with the stopper surface 8 of the L-shaped lifter 9 and the advancing is stopped. Since the spacing between the front edge part of the piece 3 and the surface 8 is beforehand set at a predetermined feed pitch P, the material 1 is advanced by a specified pitch P and is then stopped. The piece 3 is unbent and the material is subjected to progressive working by the repetition of advancing and stopping to a product 15, which is blanked and dropped off from bridge 16. |
