PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a phosphor screen and its landing characteristics by comprising the narrow hole with of a shadow mask with a rectangle. CONSTITUTION:The phosphor dots 2G, 2B, and 2R of a phosphor coat 2 can obtain almost round phosphor dot groups even in the periphery of a panel even by the exposure method by forming the shape of the narrow hole 9 of a shadow mask 6 into a rectangle that expands as the long diameter goes along the radical direction and the ratio of the long diameter to the long diameter is separated from the center of the mask. |
