<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of wirings and enable to exchange ignition units by a method wherein the ignition units are contained detachably by forming a containing space in the mold part of an ignition coil. CONSTITUTION:The ignition coil 10 is molded with a resin member 14, and an angular hole 15 is formed in the mold part. The ignition unit 16 in rectangular form is detachably fitted and inserted in the angular hole 15, and an ignition circuit is contained in the ignition unit 16. Connection terminals 20, 21 and 20, 23 are connected respectively, and then the output terminal of the ignition circuit is connected to the primary coil 12 of the ignition coil 10, and the earth terminal to an iron core 11. The input terminal of the ignition circuit is connected to wires 28 and 29. The characteristic of ignition period can be changed by exchanging ignition units according to type of machines, and therefore it can easily cope with ignition characteristic being diversified.</p> |
