PURPOSE:To attain a high frequency power amplifier suitable for a device with a low power consumption and a device having small heat dissipating fins, by adding an impedance converting circuit to a matching circuit, in the high frequency amplifier equipped with the matching circuit and an amplifying circuit or the like. CONSTITUTION:The impedance converting circuit 12 is connected between capacitors 51 and 52 constituting the matching circuit 2, in the high frequency power amplifier comprising an amplifier transistor(TR) 1 and the matching circuit 2. This impedance converting circuit 12 converts a load impedance of a device so as to match the impedance to be an impedance having the maximum efficiency. Thus, the amplifying circuit suitable for a device with a low power consumption and a device having small heat dissipating fins is attained. Further, the destruction of the TR1 due to the fluctuation of the efficiency is prevented. |
