PURPOSE:To reduce the time of the service interruption accompanied with the restart processing considerably, by excluding subscribers from the object of the initial installation where subscriber state monitor relays are operated when the earth is supplied temporarily to the relay monitoring the state of the subscriber's line. CONSTITUTION:When the fault occurs in central control device CC0, the electronic exchange interrupts the service temporarily and switches the connection control from 0-system central control device CC0 and main memory MM0 to 1-system central control device CC1 and main memory MM1. During this time, device CC1 causes subscribers C and D to continue the service on a basis of various information. When device CC1 closes contact S in the subscriber's circuit to give the earth to relay LR, relay LR is operated in subscriber's circuit LCA, and released subscriber A is removed from the object of network initialization. Meanwhile, subscriber's circuit LCB where relay LR is not operated becomes the object of network initialization because subscriber B is not released. As a result, only subscriber B is initialized as the object to shorten considerably the service interrupt time accompanied with restart. |
