Intake pipe for multi-cylinder internal combustion engines

The invention relates to an intake pipe for multi-cylinder internal combustion engines with a distributor chamber which is situated downstream of a throttle valve and from which at least two branch pipes lying essentially in one plane and branching off one behind the other lead to the cylinders. In order to provide an intake pipe which is favourable in terms of flow dynamics and guarantees uniform charging of the cylinders, the pivoting axis of the throttle valve is aligned essentially in this plane and the branch pipes are arranged offset relative to one another out of this plane such that the air flow divided by the throttle valve approximately strikes the openings of the branch pipes. On the valve portion situated on the downstream side when the valve is tilted, the throttle valve is provided with a baffle which widens its front side. Opening into the region over which the baffle passes is a pipe which serves to control an exhaust gas recirculation device of the internal combustion engine.
