PURPOSE:To avoid miss ignition at the time of starting by feeding the exclusive fuel for ignition to a cumbustion chamber and igniting the main fuel with the combustion flame of the exclusive fuel for ignition when starting an engine. CONSTITUTION:When starting an engine, a valve 22 is opened by a command from an engine controller 9, and the exclusive fuel for ignition is fed to an injection valve 23 from an ignition exclusive fuel tank 21. The main fuel is injected from an injection vavle 10 somewhat behind the injection from the injection valve 23. When the temperature in a combustion chamber 11 becomes a predetermined value or above, the valve 22 is closed. |
