The horseshoe is comprised of a plastic element having a ground bearing part (10) and a body (11) adapted to the shape of the hoof. The ground bearing part has in plane the shape of a conventional horseshoe and, in cross-section, a rectangular shape. The body holes are provided with slots to secure by means of wedges the horseshoe to the hoof. As an alternative, the body walls may be adapted to be glued to the hoof. The ground bearing part may be provided with a conventional horseshoe or with a T cross-section horseshoe. |
