A cutting-to-length and stacking device for elongate material, having a feed transport portion for the material, a dividing saw working transversely to this, and a cutting-to-length stop adjustable in the transport direction, has, in the region behind the dividing saw, a stacking portion with transport means for the material which are removable from the transport path, as well as raisable and lowerable supports, arranged under the stacking portion, for receiving the material from the removable transport means of the stacking portion and for depositing it into a transport frame for the material movable under the stacking portion. Inserted between the dividing saw and the stacking portion is a cutting-to-length portion which allows a selective stacking of the material by hand.
