Implement, consisting of the actual working implement, such as a rake, fan broom, weedhook, hoe or the like, and of a handle fastened releasably to it, the handle engaging with its conically tapered fastening end into and being retained in a conical receptacle provided on the working implement and consisting of metallic material, the conical handle receptable provided on the working implement being provided with at least one slot extending from its free end and running in its longitudinal direction, and at least the free end of the handle receptacle being compressible by means of screw acting on its outer face, the handle thereby being clamped.
