PURPOSE:To prevent the excessive increase in a part of water pressure within a heating circuit and to prevent the occurrnce of water leakage and breakdown of a pipe, by forming in a heating circuit a short-circuit passage through which cooling water, prevented from flowing in a heating flow pass part, flows. CONSTITUTION:A heating circuit R is brought to an open state because of a temperature-sensitive valve 23 opened. In which case, most of cooling water flows in a heating flow pass part R1 having a relatively low flow resistance, and only a small quantity thereof flows in a short circuit flow pass part Q. Thereafter, as the engine warming-up progreses, the cooling water, simultaneously, increase in temperature, and the cooling water gradually increased in temperature, flows in the heating circuit R side. When warming-up is completed, most of the cooling water flowing in the heating circuit R, flows out therefrom and flows in the short circuit flow pass part Q. |
